Our approach is holistic, combining deep mathematical learning with advising, community, and sustained guidance from middle school through college. By investing early and consistently, we ensure students not only gain access, but also the tools and confidence to succeed. BEAM is committed to making high-quality STEM education accessible regardless of financial circumstances.

In setting up this whole page, I was eager to ask BEAM if they'd like to be featured, because it aligns incredibly well with 3Blue1Brown and its mission. I wanted to ensure there are opportunities listed related to high-impact teaching, and also to include roles for any of you only looking for part-time or summer opportunities.

All of you watching this channel know there's a lot more to math than what's typically taught in schools. In fact, this is where some of the most beautiful ideas lie. I'm guessing many of you also recognize that not everyone has the chance to see this more creative, extracurricular side of math. BEAM is all about offering the chance to see that other side to students who otherwise might not get it.

In chatting with their team, one thing that struck me is how significant the long-term relationship with students is. It's not just about a single program that a student attends; they care a lot about seeing them through on a longer path towards a STEM career. Anyone who has had the chance to experience such a long-term relationship with a student knows how deeply meaningful it can be.
